MISSION BEYOND COMMITTEE

The PLCPC Mission Beyond Committee exists to call forth and send forth the people of PLCPC and their resources, into greater obedience and service in the world, for Christ’s sake, by interpreting and facilitating PLCPC insight and practice of mission here & beyond. The total mission field includes local, regional, and global; each providing Good News and Good Works.

Local Church Mission includes either or both participation and financial support of the following: UPLIFT/ Kids at Heart, Reality Changers, Presbyterian Urban Ministries, Loaves & Fishes, Military Outreach Ministries (MOM), Peninsula Shepherd Senior Center, and Ocean Beach Soup Kitchen.  READ MORE...


Regional Church Mission includes participation and financial support of Genesis International Orphanage Foundation & Mexico’s Genesis Diaz A.C. of whom Greg and Pattie Amstutz from the PLCPC are full time missionaries.  READ MORE...


Global Church Mission fundamental foundation is Mathew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit...” Global Church Mission is working in Covenant Partnership with The Outreach Foundation (TOF) to express our expanding and extending Global Church Mission relationships. TOF receives proposals for programs, projects, and missionaries from The World Mission staff of Presbyterian Church (USA), partner church leaders in other countries, missionaries on the field, and Presbyteries. Each proposal is researched to be sure they are sound. TOF maintains and provides up-to-date information to those supporting TOF.  READ MORE...
