Preschool and Toddler Learning Center

The Point Loma Church Preschool and Toddler Learning Center (TLC) have wonderful reputations in our region. Accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs (Facility #372000465), many have worked hard for compliance in High Quality Early Childhood Programs.

TLC is a developmentally appropriate enrichment program for children ages 2 and 3, and their parents. This Christian-based program runs mid-September through mid-June, observing public school holidays. Classes meet Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays this season, and last 2 ½ hours; resulting in a 9:00 - 11:30 am morning track and a 12:30 - 2:30/3:00 pm afternoon track.

TLC will be changing its class schedule in the fall; we will be a 2 hour 45 minute long program, three days a week this coming September thru June. We will run Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 - 11:45 am, and 12:45 - 3:30 pm.

PRESCHOOL classes for 3 to 5 year olds are held in the mornings and afternoons with a schedule consisting of Mon/Wed/Fri, Tue/Thu, or any combination thereof. Daily prayer and monthly chapels enrich this church-related ministry. Artistic creativity, music appreciation, science experiences, physical, fine motor and math development are supplemented with nutritious parent-provided snacks. The Preschool Office is off the back hall and courtyard next to the Family Life Center, with parking in the PLCPC side parking lot or Point Loma Library lot.
