Shirley has been a preschool director for over 25 years, all in church-based preschools. She opened a church-based preschool in Oceanside and was there for 10 years; she then moved to Poway and ran a parent participation preschool. Now as the Director of the Point Loma Community Presbyterian Church Preschool, she is in charge of the Preschool and Toddler Learning Center programs. We have a staff of 17 and about 145 children. She helped coordinate the Christian program in our preschool, incorporating daily prayer, Bible stories, Christian songs and monthly Chapels.
