WEDDINGS

Please contact the office for complete informational material as you consider a wedding here. Fees are based on member or non-member family relationship. PLCPC does not “rent out” its Sanctuary for outside events, but special clergy friends may be invited to join one of our pastors to participate. Any outside wedding planner will be under the direction of our PLCPC Wedding Coordinator.

Our Book of Order directs couples requesting a wedding date to meet with the pastor to first ascertain their long-term prospects for marriage before plans can proceed at PLCPC. Counseling with the pastor, including the Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis Test, and wedding planning will follow. Rehearsals are normally directed by our Wedding Coordinator. 

FUNERAL AND MEMORIAL MINISTRIES

Members may anticipate the full assistance and help from the pastors and staff following the loss of a family member. Please contact Dr. Powell or the church office as soon as a loved one dies, so that we can help you plan a Christian service.

Please contact the office regarding the scope of our services for worship in either the Sanctuary or Chapel based on anticipated size of the gathering and musical availability. Some receptions can be provided in the Family Life Center, depending on season and schedule, with family providing for more extensive refreshments.

CHURCH RENOVATION

After four years of preparation, the renovation of our facilities and building of our new pipe organ are finally official. The efforts we’ll make over the next two years will lead to a celebration of renewal and accomplishment in 2012, the year marking our 75th anniversary. READ MORE...
